We are looking for a
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Eyepax. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions by performing functional, UI, regression, and performance testing. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and global stakeholders to identify issues, validate features, and drive continuous improvement in software delivery. This position offers hands-on experience with automation tools, test management platforms enabling you to enhance your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, and UI testing for web and mobile applications.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, or similar tools.
- Conduct performance testing using JMeter and analyze the results.
- Document and report test results, defects, and status to the development team.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning, providing QA input.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
- Support exploratory testing and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in ensuring adherence to coding, testing, and QA standards.
What We Expect:
- BSc. in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent professional qualification.
- 4+ years QA experience with good skill in Functional and UI testing capabilities.
- A solid practical understanding of Software Quality Assurance, Software Engineering concepts and Agile Process.
- Test prioritization, execution (functional, regression), results and status reporting during the execution cycle.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium Web driver, Cucumber, TestNG, Postman and Appium.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)
- Experience with test management tools (XRay, TestRail, TestLink)
- Solid Knowledge in Java, OOP concepts and coding standards
- Experience with distributed source control systems such as Bitbucket/Git
- Experience with IDEs like Eclipse or IntelliJ
- Hands-on experience in Exploratory testing
- Knowledge in Web Services Testing will be an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the application and its environment.
- Experience in using JIRA and Scrum Process would be advantageous.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience in off-shore client interaction
- Experience in Salesforce CRM
