Project Manager

Education/ Professional knowledge:

Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer or equivalent work experience (7+ years) with solid knowledge in program management in the automotive or automotive's supplier industry.

Skill, Experience:

• Solid experience in project management
• Experience in Quality Control, understanding about 8D process, Six Sigma and Problem Solving
• Leadership, capacity to motivate and move other stakeholders of the company.
• Excellent communication skills, capability of synthesis and identification of important topics and their relevance.
• Knowledge about main Vehicle aspects.
• Ideally good background on automotive testing and DVP strategy.
• Experienced in leading discussions and managing cross-functional teams (Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Product Strategy and others) to mitigate gaps to targets and facilitate the Company Leadership executive decisions
• Experience Leading teams and dealing with time pressure.

1) Attribute Strategy & Integration (The Trade-off Management)

Balance Competing Targets: Lead the Attribute Trade-off process, negotiating between conflicting requirements (e.g., mass, cost, aerodynamics, and NVH) to ensure the vehicle meets its overall program objectives.

Cross-Functional Integration: Synchronize activities between Body, Chassis, Powertrain, and Software teams to ensure sub-system performance rolls up into a cohesive vehicle-level attribute.

Technical Decision Making: Provide data-driven recommendations during Conflict Loops where two or more attributes cannot simultaneously meet targets.

2. Validation Planning & Execution

Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of all physical and virtual testing activities, optimizing the use of external suppliers versus in-house laboratory and proving ground resources.

Readiness Oversight: Analyze the Pre-Test landscape, identifying risks in vehicle build readiness,s oftware maturity, and logistics before testing begins.

Agile Monitoring: Track testing performance in real-time to identify bottlenecks, such as vehicle downtime or supplier delays, and implement recovery plans.

3. Performance Assessment & Reporting

Status Synthesis: Systematically capture and analyze the status of all Attributes (Safety, Dynamics, Thermal, ADAS, etc.), moving beyond Pass/Fail to evaluate how deviations affect the total vehicle experience.

Stakeholder Leadership: Lead program-level validation and integration meetings, acting as the final authority on whether an attribute is Gate-ready.

Executive Reporting: Create consolidated weekly reports and executive summaries for Gate reviews, providing a clear assessment of performance vs. targets and timing risks

Expected output / KPI

• 100% of issues raised have good quality in JIRA, structured test procedures, clear customer scenarios, testing strategies
• 100% of the issues are raised in the JIRA timely, track progress and risk assessment based on customer usecases
• 100% of the issues raised should be aligned & closed before the next gate way
• Build the testing team's skills and control output to ensure efficient & timely delivery of the projects
• 100% VTS and DVP are aligned and get approve before TA GATE
• Ensure 100% DVP test item are performed and follow the plan in DVP
• All the issue found must be captured in Jira with detail following VF Standard; cooperate with other team find the root cause and solution for the issue
