Project Manager
Core Responsibilities
1. Manage overall defect inflow/outflow, identify defect severity and impact to the user, create clear targets, track development and testing progress and lead/guide the team members with the best and clear directions
2. Manage overall change requests, lead the requirement analysis, technical proposal creation, presentation to the client, create clear targets, track the development and testing progress
3. Manage overall software release cadence and internal release preparation, communicate with 3rd party external teams and teams on the client&aposs side, create clear targets and track the progress
4. Drive weekly/daily meetings with the client&aposs core team, take meeting minutes and close loops of remaining actions items
5. Lead the quarterly performance review and presentation slides preparation for the management teams at the client&aposs side
6. Manage the project account balance sheet, control the cost and labor hours, achieve project revenue margin goals, report monthly revenue and other internal financial/operational control metrics required by the PMO team
7. Log labor hours of the team members into the internal system
8. Review and approve team members&apos time-off requests, supplemental clock-in/out request, business travel requests, expense reimbursement requests, etc.
9. Open and close the project and follow all internal processes
Required Qualifications
1. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in agile software development and scrum, preferrably with more than 4 years of exprience as the primary project manager in agile/scrum software development projects
2. In-depth understanding and knowledge of automotive software quality assurance and quality control, preferrably with proven success of software quality improvement operations and data analytical activities
3. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of MS Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and proven success in public speech and presentation slides creation
4. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of cost-down operations and financial management
5. Absolutely fluent in English, preferrably with college or post-graduate technical/engineering education degrees awarded in countries where English is a native language
6. A natural leader, problem solver and team player with a strong sense of priority, risk and key client&aposs concerns
7. Outstanding interpersonal skills, be able to seamlessly communicate with all internal and external stake holders
8. Great understanding and knowledge of 'V' development model in automotive embedded software development
9. Familiar with overall automotive EE infrastructure, in-cabin infotainment system architecture and Android/Linux software design, development and testing basics
10. Ability to think out-of-the-box and make tough decisions in an ambiguous situation
