About AppsForBharat

AppsForBharat (Sri Mandir App) is building beautifully crafted, AI-first consumer experiences that help millions of Indians connect with spirituality and culture. We're backed by Peak XV Partners, Elevation, Fundamentum, and other top-tier investors, and are one of India's fastest-growing Series C consumer-tech companies.

Our flagship product, Sri Mandir, is the world's largest platform for Hindu devotees, powering rituals, teachings, personalized recommendations, and a thriving devotional community. India's $44B devotion economy is still largely offline, and we're bringing structure, accessibility, and meaning to this massive market, where design and data play a central role in shaping user behavior at scale.

About the Role

We are looking for a Program Manager –D2C supply chain to own the complete order-to-doorstep journey for SriMandir.store.

You'll sit at the intersection of product, tech, and operations, turning messy real-world problems (a courier underperforming in a pincode, a spike in NDRs, a stakeholder team asking for a metric that doesn't exist yet) into clear, data-backed fixes. If you like digging into numbers until they tell you what's actually broken, and then fixing it, this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

  • Own a set of operating metrics (delivery success, RTO, NDR recovery, dispatch TAT, and whatever else matters as we grow) and build the dashboards and review cadences
  • Take a messy question like why did prepaid share drop last month and actually answer it, then decide what we do differently.
  • Work directly with courier and logistics partners on allocation, SLAs and escalations, and just as directly with internal teams on process and tooling gaps.
  • Design for scale from day one. What works at current volume should hold up
  • Get close enough to customer experience data (reviews, complaints, repeat rates) to spot where ops issues are quietly costing us revenue
  • Push for standardisation where it helps (SOPs, playbooks for new couriers or warehouses)
  • Build the analytics view when one doesn't exist. If a metric matters and there's no dashboard for it

What Success Looks Like

  • You can explain, with data, why a metric moved and what you did about it.
  • Operational processes you've touched get measurably better
  • Manual, repetitive ops work gets replaced by systems and automations that just run, freeing the team from manual work
  • You've built a control tower view (dashboards, alerts, exception flags) that surfaces problems the moment they happen

What We're Looking For

  • 1-4 years of experience in program management, business analytics, business or product operations
  • Strong analytical instincts. Comfortable in Excel and SQL
  • Genuine curiosity about how a business works end to end, not just one function of it.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (product, tech, warehouse, external partners)

Good to Have

  • D2C or e-commerce experience (not mandatory, but useful context).
  • Exposure to supply chain or last-mile metrics like RTO, NDR, or delivery TAT.
  • Familiarity with OMS/WMS tools, or logistics platforms like Shiprocket, ClickPost, Unicommerce.

Why This Role

This is a high-ownership role where you will directly impact customer experience, operational efficiency and business margins. You will have the opportunity to build systems and processes that can significantly improve the last-mile experience for millions of customers.

One Team. One Goal. Assisting millions on their digital devotional journeys.
