Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product delivery, from discovery and validation through launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Identify key assumptions and product risks, design validation initiatives, and define OKRs and outcome-based roadmaps.
- Plan and conduct user research, including user interviews and usability testing, to validate hypotheses and inform product decisions.
- Define product strategy, facilitate story mapping, and develop user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritisation to ensure alignment between product goals and delivery activities.
- Monitor delivery KPIs, including velocity and cycle time, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks.
- Develop go-to-market strategies, define measurement frameworks, and establish analytics instrumentation to track product performance.
- Analyse post-launch data and user feedback to identify opportunities for iterative improvements.
- Facilitate product retrospectives to evaluate outcomes and improve product development practices.
- Coach and mentor client Product Managers and Product Owners through pairing, feedback, and tailored knowledge-sharing activities.
- Facilitate workshops, product demonstrations, and stakeholder alignment sessions to support collaboration and informed decision-making.
- Promote an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages learning, open communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 or more years of product management experience across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through delivery, launch, and measurement.
- Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, prioritising backlogs, and delivering products aligned with user needs and business outcomes.
- Experience conducting user research, validating product assumptions, and using evidence to inform product decisions, including reprioritising or discontinuing initiatives where appropriate.
- Familiarity with product management methodologies and frameworks, such as Lean Startup, Continuous Discovery, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Jobs to Be Done (JTBD), Impact Mapping, and outcome-based roadmaps.
- Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, facilitating story mapping, and collaborating with engineering teams throughout delivery.
- Ability to interpret product analytics, delivery metrics, and user feedback to measure outcomes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies, measurement frameworks, and product performance indicators.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain product decisions and trade-offs to diverse audiences.
- Experience mentoring or coaching Product Managers or Product Owners through pairing, workshops, or knowledge-sharing activities.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements, make evidence-based decisions, and balance user needs, business objectives, and technical considerations.
- Familiarity with the Singapore Government technology ecosystem, including SHIP-HATS, SG Tech Stack, or GeBIZ, or experience working with Singapore Government agencies, is advantageous.
- Consultancy experience or experience working with multiple clients and cross-functional stakeholders is advantageous.
