Job Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic Associate Product Manager to lead and sustain the execution of our product marketing plans across defined territories and nationally. This role is pivotal in achieving our company's strategic goals through innovative and customer-centric marketing initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
Plan and organize events like symposia, CME, physician education, customer and patient public awareness related to the product/ disease specifically,
Build professional relationships with medical experts to enhancing the partnership, and effectively communicate product / disease-based scientific information - providing medical options to customers.
Strengthen and maximize existing customers and further explore and assess business opportunities.
Responsible for providing the Med-reps with the necessary technical expertise to enable the product information (printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and relevant clinical papers).
Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors products and to assess the suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that promotional material is being used optimally.
Design market intelligence resource to assess customer insights to the current products and new introductions. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to manager and marketing heads.
Propose new plans to develop product performance as company growth expected in the territory.
Responsible for preparing product forecasts, market consumption trend including liaison with local distributor and supply chain globally to ensure supply timelines.
Assist with the development of the annual marketing plan and for controlling advertising, promotion and medical promotional aids in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
Analyse, plan, facilitate, approve and ensure implementation of tactical plans that will exploit identified business opportunities. Track and monitor spending/A&P in the relevant responsible products to ensure optimal use of resources and return on investment.
Liaise with the marketing service agency regarding the product campaign including PR campaigns, medical educational and customer events and conferences.
People management:
Closely liaison with the field forces and their managers to ensure the implementation of marketing plans and activities within approved resources and achieve territorial performance objective
Build strong team spirit by setting clear directions, clarifying expectations, providing support, promoting teamwork and collaboration, and constantly engaging their people to drive retention.
Supporting the field managers to provide market/customer feedback to coaching reps.
Performance management cycle, development discussions.
Ensure appropriate product and disease induction for a new rep in the field.
Strengthen professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other special interest groups by maintaining regular contact and providing proactive support as appropriate.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Medicine or Pharmacy.
Required: 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on the Marketing ETC (Ethical/Prescription) channel.
Experience in team management within international companies.
Background in obstetrics and gynecology is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Familiarity with the healthcare environment, pharmaceutical products, and industry practices.
Knowledge of health economics and its application in the pharmaceutical sector.
Understanding of management techniques and team leadership.
Basic knowledge of marketing finance, including budgeting and P&L fundamentals.
