Job Description

I. Responsibilities:

1.Indirect Procurement category Management

Oversee the procurement of indirect goods and services for Commercial & Corporate services, including but not limited to Marketing (MKT), Trade marketing (TMKT), sales & HR, IT services

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of indirect materials and services.

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in indirect procurement categories.

2.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Commercial, Sale & Marketing, HR, IT to understand their indirect procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.

Support Marketing with procurement of advertising services, media buying, creative agency & activation event.

Assist Trade Marketing, Commercial to purchase POSM, shop display, and trade event services.

Coordinate with HR, IT such as Recruitment and training services, insurance, health check, third party labour (3P), canteen services and software, tool support for business.

3.Supplier and Contract Management:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for indirect procurement categories, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery, quality compliance) and conduct regular supplier reviews.

Manage supplier contracts, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and compliance with legal and company policies.

4.Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all commercial procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations.

Conduct due diligence on suppliers to mitigate risks related to quality, financial stability, and compliance.

Implement contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply of commercial, HR, IT goods or services.

5.Reporting, Process Improvement & Team Management:

Provide detailed reports on commercial procurement activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings, to the Senior Procurement Manager.

Identify inefficiencies in the commercial procurement process and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.

Supervise and mentor one direct-report, providing guidance to ensure team alignment with procurement goals.

II. Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A Masters degree or professional certification (e.g., CPM, CSCP, or CIPS) is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in Indirect procurement, with at least 2 years in management level.
  • Proven experience indirect procurement in a FMCG manufacturing or industrial environment (Pharma, Consumer Electronics..)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) & E-Sourcing system (e.g Ariba)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent Problem solving and stakeholder management skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
