About the role
We're looking for a strategic and insight-driven Planning Manager to maintain client relationships and deliver strategic media campaigns. You will play a key role in developing planning recommendations across traditional and digital channels, working closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to translate business objectives into effective media solutions.
We're seeking a proactive individual with solid media agency experience who can manage multiple workstreams, contribute confidently to client discussions, and support the development of a junior team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
Client & Communication Support
- Support day-to-day client communication, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timely responses
- Contribute to client presentations by developing clear planning narratives and data-backed recommendations
- Build trust with clients through consistent delivery and attention to detail
Media Planning & Strategy
- Develop media plans across traditional and digital channels under the guidance of senior team members
- Translate audience insights, performance data, and market trends into practical planning recommendations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure planning intent is aligned with execution
Campaign Delivery & Optimization
- Support campaign delivery by coordinating planning inputs, tracking requirements, and optimization recommendations
- Ensure campaigns follow agreed best practices in tracking, reporting, and performance measurement
Team Collaboration
- Support and guide junior planners on planning tasks and daily deliverables
- Collaborate effectively within the team to manage workloads and meet deadlines
Media Partner Coordination
- Work with media partners and vendors to gather planning inputs, proposals, and value-added opportunities
- Support vendor coordination to ensure plans are delivered accurately and efficiently
Qualifications
- 46 years of experience in a media agency environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address client challenges with tailored solutions
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate insights and strategies clearly and persuasively
- Experience in managing media vendor relationships with a collaborative and results-driven approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a focus on delivering measurable results
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members is an advantage
