We are hiring an Operations Specialist to work with the hiring manager on Web3 and digital asset initiatives, turning new workflows into reliable daily operations. This individual contributor role combines transaction support, onboarding coordination, reconciliation and launch support, and will extend to other digital asset initiatives as priorities develop.
What you'll be spending your time on:
- Check client onboarding documents for completeness against defined requirements, coordinate authorised submissions and follow up on outstanding information with clients, providers and internal teams.
- Monitor assigned transactions, including stablecoin deposits, conversions and fiat payouts, using provider platforms and approved tracking tools; follow up on pending items and provide timely status updates.
- Perform initial checks on delayed deposits, missing credits, failed conversions and returned payouts. Resolve standard exceptions within approved procedures and escalate complex or unfamiliar cases.
- Support routine reconciliation by comparing transaction amounts, fees and provider statements against internal records and settlement confirmations. Flag discrepancies to Finance and the hiring manager.
- Maintain accurate onboarding and transaction records, including transaction hashes, provider references, supporting documents and case updates.
- Complete assigned launch checklists and user acceptance testing steps for new providers or workflows. Record issues and retest fixes under the guidance of the hiring manager, Product and Technology teams.
- Update operational trackers, reports and approved SOPs. Highlight recurring issues and suggest practical improvements for review.
- Follow approved access, data-sharing and transaction controls. Escalate screening requests, suspected errors and service incidents promptly to the appropriate owners.
For this role you'll also have:
- Around 1-3 years of operations experience in payments, fintech, banking, brokerage, digital assets or another transaction-processing environment.
- Hands-on experience in transaction operations, reconciliation, client onboarding or payment exception handling.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate, traceable records.
- Comfortable learning new products, working through incomplete information and documenting processes with guidance from the hiring manager.
- Prior exposure to Web3, cryptocurrency, digital assets or crypto-linked payment products would be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and building processes in a lean, growing environment.
- Good command of English. Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage.
