OPERATION MANAGER
Job Description- Handle end-to-end export and import operations for Sea Freight, Air Freight, and cross-border shipments.
- Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, carriers, freight forwarders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth shipment movement.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and subcontractors to secure space, obtain competitive freight rates, negotiate the best rates, and monitor shipment status.
- Prepare and check shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor service quality, response time, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints related to shipments, such as additional costs, shipment delays, and missing documents.
- Report any operational issues or irregularities to the Director.
- Build and maintain good relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Manage, assign, and supervise the daily work of the operations team.
- Train and guide staff on SOPs, operational procedures, and company service standards.
- Monitor team performance and ensure departmental KPIs are achieved.
Job Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Import-Export, Transportation, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a logistics management position or equivalent; experience in international freight forwarding companies is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, transportation processes, operations management, and import-export regulations.
- Strong team management, leadership, and staff training skills; excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with partners, clients, and internal departments.
- Proficient in professional (industry-specific) English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics management software.
Working Hours- Monday to Saturday morning (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Benefits- Salary: 20 – 25 million VND/month + commission.
