Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: HCMC

Reports To: Country Manager, Vietnam

Position Overview

As Operations Manager for Crown Worldwide Group, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations related to the receipt, secure storage, handling, and movement of goods. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance with industry standards, and delivery of outstanding service quality in line with Crowns global standards and core values.

Key Responsibilities

1. Storage Operations

Oversee the warehouse facility layout to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency across the business units

Ensure safe and compliant handling of items throughout storage, retrieval, and transportation

Monitor and control inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS) and ensure accuracy of documentation

2. Process & Service Delivery Management

Collaborate with Origin and Destination Services teams to ensure timely and secure movements

Oversee workflow systems for inbound/outbound shipments to meet agreed timelines

Implement and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) aligned with Crowns operational guidelines

3. Materials & Asset Management

Manage reusable packaging materials, security boxes, pallets, and digital scanning tools

Maintain proper disposal systems for outdated or damaged physical assets in accordance with company protocols and legal requirements

Support warehouse readiness for peak volumes and scheduled audits

4. People Leadership & Staff Supervision

Plan and oversee staffing schedules across inbound, outbound, shredding, scanning, and retrieval operations

Conduct training and development for warehouse staff to ensure adherence to company policies and legal compliance

Promote a safety-first culture and champion teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning

5. Compliance, Risk & Sustainability

Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards, Data Privacy (e.g., GDPR, local equivalents), and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) regulations

Investigate operational incidents and implement preventative safety measures

Support Crowns sustainability and CSR initiatives through resource management and ethical disposal practices

Maintain audit-readiness and contribute to the renewal of necessary certifications

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Work with senior leadership to identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation (e.g., scanning workflows, system integration)

Ensure proactive reporting of equipment issues, warehouse conditions, and infrastructure maintenance needs

Uphold a customer-centric mindset by aligning operational execution with client needs and service excellence

Core Competencies

Strategic thinking and resource planning

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills

Proactive problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail

Proficiency in warehouse systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Deep understanding of records management practices and confidentiality protocols

Cross-cultural communication and adaptability in a global work environment

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field (preferred)

7 10 years of experience in a similar position within warehouse, logistics, or records management operations

Experience in 3PL and 4PL

Experience managing teams in document storage or information management sectors preferred

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and OHS regulatory frameworks

Fluent in English and Vietnamese
