Job Description:
1. Learning Needs Analysis & Solution Design
- Conduct training needs assessments (TNA) in collaboration with Warehouse Managers, Opex, and L&D teams.
- Analyze operational metrics (accuracy rate, order turnaround time, picking errors, safety incidents) to identify learning priorities.
- Design modular training programs using the ADDIE framework, ensuring they address specific process challenges (e.g., inbound, put away, picking, packing, dispatch, returns).
- Develop competency-based learning roadmaps for different roles - associates, team leaders, supervisors.
2. Instructional Design & Content Development
- Create engaging, scenario-based learning materials (manuals, microlearning videos, e-modules, job aids, checklists) tailored for warehouse staff with diverse education levels.
- Use adult learning principles and suitable models to maximize retention and application.
- Translate SOPs, safety protocols, and process changes into accessible visual content.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to convert classroom content into e-learning or blended formats.
3. Learning Implementation & Trainer Enablement
- Develop facilitator guides, assessments, and simulation tools for practical skill transfer.
- Support the deployment of new learning initiatives across multiple sites and monitor consistency in delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Learning Design, Industrial Engineering, or Human Resource Development is preferred.
- Certification in Instructional Design, Kirkpatrick Evaluation, or Learning Experience Design (LxD) is an advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design or Training Design, with at least 2 years in logistics, e-commerce, or manufacturing operations.
- Proven success designing process-specific, practical training programs for warehouse environments.
- Expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, Gagns 9 Events, ROPES, etc).
- Strong facilitation and communication skills across blue-collar and management levels.
- Proficient in e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate, Canva, Camtasia).
- Project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Have English fluency in verbal and written communication
- A pragmatic thinker - can translate process maps into learning stories. Empathy with frontline workforce. Analytical mindset - measures impact, not just activity.
