Were on the hunt for a rockstar Operations Executive to keep things buzzing at Saigon Social. From corporate tastings to hands-on workshops and cool pop-up events, youll be the one making sure everything runs like clockwork.
Think of this role as part event planner, part team coach, and part all-around problem solver. One day youll be scheduling hosts for a chocolate tasting, the next youll be helping the team get better at upselling coffee beans or packing up a big gifting order for a corporate client. No two days are ever the same and thats what makes it exciting.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Experience Operations (core focus - 50%)
- Manage and execute corporate events, workshops, and group tastings.
- Coordinate with partners (corporates, travel companies, MICE clients) on logistics and requirements.
- Organize hosts/facilitators for tastings and workshops, and manage staff scheduling.
- Ensure smooth setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
Retail & Gifting (20%)
- Support preparation and fulfillment of corporate gifting and e-commerce orders.
- Oversee packaging, inventory, and delivery coordination.
Cafe Operations (10%)
- Support small caf operations within Saigon Social (coffee, iced teas).
- Train staff on making simple drinks (coffee, iced teas, craft drinks served at Saigon Social).
- Ensure high service standards and guest experience across retail and events.
Administration & Coordination
- Oversee booking calendar, manage event schedules, and assign staff/hosts.
- Handle inventory management for retail and events.
- Work closely with the founder and management team to improve processes.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills in Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
- Minimum 2 years experience in hospitality, events, or F&B operations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with multitasking.
- Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Passionate about Vietnams food and drink culture is a big plus.
Work Details:
- Schedule: 5.5 days a week (includes weekends as needed depending on events).
- Location: District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- Reports to: Founder / General Manager
This person should ideally come from:
- Hospitality / Events Operations someone who has worked in hotels, event spaces, or F&B venues where they managed group bookings, workshops, or corporate events.
- F&B Supervisory Roles experience as a caf/restaurant supervisor, assistant manager, or operations coordinator, especially in venues with both retail and event elements.
- Corporate / Travel / MICE Coordination experience working with tour companies, DMCs, or event agencies is a big plus, since a lot of Saigon Socials work ties into corporate experiences.
