Job Description
As the Manager of Network Excellence, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to mastering end-to-end lead time management, inventory positioning, and network-level efficiencies.
By bridging data-driven insights with operational execution, you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to design a seamless, agile, and cost-effective supply chain network that enhances customer experience and supports Shopee & SPX s massive growth.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists and analysts focusing on end-to-end network optimization.
- Foster a Network Thinking mindset within the team, elevating their capabilities in systems thinking, advanced data analytics, and supply chain modeling.
- Set clear KPIs, manage performance, and build a robust talent pipeline within the function.
- Lead Time & Inventory Balance Optimization
- Own the end-to-end lead time performance across the entire fulfillment and delivery network, identifying bottlenecks and driving throughput optimization.
- Develop and implement inventory balancing strategies across various network nodes (Warehouses, Sorting Centers, Hubs) to prevent stockouts, minimize overstocks, and reduce transit times.
- Optimize network routing and flow allocation to balance capacity and demand, ensuring high agility during peak seasons (Mega Campaigns like 11.11, 12.12).
- Framework Building & Visibility
- Design and establish robust measurement frameworks and visibility tools (dashboards, control towers) to track key drivers impacting network flow and inventory health.
- Translate complex network data into actionable business insights, providing senior management with visibility into network constraints and opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & System Improvement
- Partner closely with Business Intelligence (BI), Operations, and Demand Planning teams to align operational capabilities with commercial forecasts.
- Drive system-level improvement initiatives, collaborating with Regional/Local Product and Tech teams to automate network decision-making tools and enhance WMS/TMS capabilities.
- Standardize SOPs for cross-node processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Network Design, Logistics Optimization, or Management Consulting.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a leadership/people management role.
- Strong Network Thinking with a deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics, node-to-node logistics, and inventory theory..
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present complex ideas to senior executives.
- Agile and resilient change agent capable of thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-pressure environment.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required, as you will interact with regional teams.
