Network Engineer

Title: Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer who has 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role from an IT or system integration company that provides IT system integration works and support.

Job Description:

·      Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and related systems.

·      Assist senior engineers in implementing network solutions based on customer and business requirements.

·      Monitor network performance and availability, identify basic issues, and escalate more complex problems when necessary.

·      Perform troubleshooting for network and connectivity issues under guidance from senior team members.

·      Support the implementation and maintenance of network security measures such as firewall policies, VPN connectivity, and endpoint/network protection tools.

·      Prepare and maintain network-related documentation, including configurations, diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting records.

·      Work closely with internal teams and vendors to support smooth network operations and project delivery.

·      Learn and keep updated on networking technologies, products, and operational best practices.

·      Provide technical support and respond to customer or internal user inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

·      Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Skills and Experience:

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·      2–3 years of experience in network/system support, infrastructure engineering, or a related IT role. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

·      Basic understanding of network fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

·      Basic knowledge of network security concepts and products, such as firewalls, antivirus, VPN, and access control.

·      Some hands-on experience or exposure to configuring IT/network products is an advantage.

·      Willingness to learn network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced IT environment.

·      Good problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve basic technical issues.

·      Ability to work both independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively within a team.

·      Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with technical and non-technical users.

·      Strong service mind and customer-oriented attitude.

·      Can communicate in English (Intermediate level).

·      Relevant certifications such as CCNA, NSE 1–3, or equivalent would be an advantage.
