Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

Safety, food Safety and sustainability:

  • Execute all planned and unplanned maintenance jobs safely and OTIF.
  • Execute and follow up legal requirements, food safety related to maintenance tasks safely and OTIF.
  • Prevent environmental issues arising in the process by cooperating with internal and external parties and stakeholders.

Quality: Execute and follow up planned and unplanned maintenance jobs with the required quality.

Work Process:

  • Execute and follow-up all planned (preventive) and predictive work.
  • Ensure work instructions are available to carry out maintenance work.
  • Work with the AM teams in solving corrective maintenance, escalate any problem and joining breakdown analysis, RCFA execution
  • Identify skill needs and coaching for technicians
  • Control CILT execution by checking the consistency and quality of work
  • Conducts (De)Tagging if required or appropriate.
  • Work as technical area owner to support life extension, further cost reduction and innovation.
  • Take part in maintenance planning and preparation and in procurement
  • Carry out work preparation and order picking, and control the workflow for repairable units
  • Control the work preparation room, workshop and is multi-zone assignable
  • Elaborate on modification proposals and checks the requirements for the modification procedure (e.g. warranty, safety).
  • Support AM teams where required

TPM & Continuous improvement:

  • Contribute to the management of maintenance plans, asset master data, asset performance and cost analysis (asset technical specialist)
  • Take part in implementing and rolling out new or improved condition-based maintenance (CBM) methods and co-execute advanced maintenance techniques (e.g. pit stop, maintenance free, maintenance prevention & continual optimization of PM standards).
  • Take expert role in RCFA, Kaizen or other teams to eradicate the root causes of failures and avoid recurrence of breakdowns, minor stops and speed losses.
  • Take part in the development of work instruction, OPL in maintenance procedures and training materials to improve the performance of (un)planned maintenance.
  • Monitor machine performance, suggest and carry out actions to reduce losses.
  • Support the application of 5S and VM to enable sustainability of machine performance.
  • Train AM teams in troubleshooting of frequent failures.
  • Support the implementation of AM Team step

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in mechanical engineering/manufacturing engineering/mechatronics engineering.
  • Prefer to have 2 - 3 years experience in repair, maintenance and mange spare parts for machine/equipment in the beverage & food factory.
  • Basic education in process automation control.
  • Mastered required LOTO skills and activities.
  • >5 years of working experience in maintenance.
  • Mastered all the skills, knowledge, and experience required for zone technician (ZT) at an advanced level.
  • Good knowledge of maintenance best practices within execution enabling asset life extension and cost reduction
  • Ability to communicate in English, especially technical jargon.
