Role Description
1. Master Data Governance & Control
- Establish and maintain RSC's Master Data Governance framework, policies, naming conventions, and validation rules.
- Ensure all master data requests follow the standardized process: Template → Approval → MDT validation → System update.
- Maintain strong controls to prevent duplicates, incorrect setup, or inconsistent data in D365.
- Define and enforce data quality standards and audit mechanisms.
2. Data Review & Validation
- Validate all master data submissions (by Data Owners) for structure, completeness, accuracy, consistency, naming standards, and version control.
- Perform cross-functional checks for data dependencies (e.g., Item ↔ BOM ↔ Routing ↔ WH setup ↔ Costing).
- Coordinate with functional SME/ data owners to clarify data issues or resolve conflicts
3. Approval & Workflow Oversight
- Review and approve Master Data Officer updates before they are executed in the system.
- Ensure proper approval documentation (email, sign-off forms, workflow records) is attached for audit purposes.
- Act as the final gatekeeper before changes are applied in D365.
4. Master Data Operations Management
- Manage and prioritize daily master data intake and workload for the Master Data team.
- Oversee quality and timelines of system updates performed by Master Data Officers.
- Ensure proper handover and tracking of every master data request through the MDT pipeline (ticketing / SharePoint / logs).
5. Reporting & Compliance
- Generate monthly master data quality reports for PMO, Internal Audit, and functional heads.
- Monitor KPIs such as:
o Data quality score
o Duplicate reduction
o On-time master data processing
o Error / rework count
- Support compliance with RSC and international audit requirements.
6. Project & Change Management Support
- Work closely with ERP, IT, and functional teams on:
o Data migration
o New module rollout
o System enhancements
o Integration improvements
- Provide guidance on master data structure changes and impacts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or related field.
English: Good
Minimum 3–5 years experience in ERP (preferably D365) or master data roles.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (Advantage).
Strong understanding of D365FO master data across modules: Product, BOM, Routing, WH, QC, Sales, Procurement, Finance, FA, Planning
Familiar with Excel, Power Query, D365 Data Management Framework (DMF).
