Position Summary: As the Manager, Quality (Consumer Electronics), you will play a key role in achieving our annual quality goals. You will be responsible for ensuring that our factories meet Walmarts high standards for quality, compliance, and safety. This involves leading quality assurance processes and continuous improvement projects to proactively minimize product risks and challenges for our customers.

About The Team

The Product Quality Assurance & Quality Control team is dedicated to managing the product quality process from factory selection to shipment. We ensure that all products are safe, legal, and 'fit for purpose' to support our merchandising strategy and guarantee customer satisfaction. We drive continuous improvement by analyzing feedback from customer returns and in-store assessments, and we also perform production capability and capacity checks to ensure on-time delivery.

About The Role

This is a crucial, hands-on role where you will directly impact the success of our products by ensuring they meet or exceed our quality standards. You will be responsible for auditing our factories to ensure they are capable of meeting our compliance and safety requirements. You will work directly with factories to carry out quality assurance and control processes, including pre-production, in-line, and final product reviews. A core part of your job is to identify and mitigate product risk to minimize potential challenges for both in-store and online customers. You will also lead continuous improvement projects with our supply base and contribute best practices to our Manufacturing Excellence QA Manual.

What You&aposll Do

• Drive Quality and Compliance: Monitor factory performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, delivery, and efficiency. You will conduct product risk assessments and perform pre-production and in-line inspections to ensure Walmart&aposs quality, compliance, and safety objectives are met.
• Manage Factory Improvement: Work with factories to implement corrective action plans and tackle the root cause of issues to prevent them from affecting production. You will provide technical advice to flag potential problems related to design, materials, and construction.
• Lead Projects and Collaborate: Lead and participate in quality assurance and cross-functional team projects. You will also coordinate and attend regional meetings to provide updates on supplier and factory performance, and you&aposll actively collaborate with other regional QA teams on projects that benefit all regions.

What You&aposll Bring

• A bachelor&aposs degree in engineering, with a focus on Electrical/Electronic, Production, or Quality Management, or a related scientific/technical field is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in factory production and quality assurance.
• Proven, hands-on experience working on the production floor within factories.
• Strong technical expertise in your product area, along with a solid understanding of other product areas.
• Expert knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and persuasive skills, with a high level of proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• High integrity, strong business ethics, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Experience in working with retail and direct imports.
• The ability and willingness to travel as required.
