Job Summary:
As the Project Quality Manager, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance processes across multiple complex projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Your role aims to ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, timeline, and budget while consistently achieving exceptional quality standards. You will focus on strategic quality management, fostering a culture of quality improvement and innovation across departments, and leading initiatives to mitigate risks and optimize processes. Your expertise will drive compliance with both customer and industry-specific quality requirements, ensuring excellence in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and implement comprehensive project quality management plans aligned with organizational objectives, customer expectations, and industry standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams in design validation processes, ensuring proposed solutions meet technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct thorough quality risk assessments and audits, facilitating the identification of potential quality risks and implementing effective preventive and corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor quality control metrics and key performance indicators across all project stages, from procurement through manufacturing to final inspection, ensuring compliance with established quality targets.
- Drive collaborations across engineering, production, procurement, and quality departments to foster a unified approach towards continuous quality improvements and process optimization.
- Enhance supplier quality assurance processes through effective auditing, assessment of supplier capabilities, and ensuring the consistency of quality supplies, materials, and components.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed quality documentation, including quality plans, audit reports, and compliance records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and insightful.
- Organize and lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring efficient tracking and closure of corrective and preventive action plans.
- Champion and lead various continuous improvement strategies using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis to minimize waste and enhance project efficiency.
- Design and deliver quality assurance training programs aimed at elevating the quality competencies and awareness of team members and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present detailed analytical quality reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting project quality performance and informing data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record in managing quality across multiple large-scale manufacturing projects.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, with experience implementing advanced industry standards such as TS16949 preferred.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D) and the ability to integrate these methodologies into quality planning.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and team leadership abilities, with a talent for steering cross-functional teams toward achievement of quality objectives.
- Fluency in English, with excellent ability to produce and present project documentation to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, a focus on data-driven insights, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A results-oriented professional who demonstrates a proactive approach to challenges, maintaining composure under pressure and consistently striving for excellence.
- Certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
