Job Description

As a Manager, Core Business Partnering, you'll drive strategic business partnering to enable business performance, organisational effectiveness, and leadership capability uplift. This role focuses on high-impact, forward-looking People & Culture (P&C) interventions including organisation design, talent strategy, and transformation.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Partner with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and business leaders to align people strategy with business objectives
  • Provide insight-led advice on workforce, capability and organisational priorities

2. Organisation Effectiveness & Design

  • Lead organisation capability assessment and identify critical gaps
  • Identify key friction points across business domains and define action plans
  • Support organisation design and interaction models for scalability

3. Talent & Leadership

  • Drive Individual Development Plans (IDP) and G4+ assessments
  • Strengthen leadership capability through coaching and engagement with GD and SLT
  • Contribute to succession planning and pipeline development

4. Change & Transformation

  • Lead people aspects of enterprise transformations
  • Drive structured change management aligned with business priorities

5. Engagement & Retention

  • Maintain ongoing leadership engagement with key talent segments (e.g. G4+)
  • Identify retention risks and recommend action plans.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Key Capabilities:

1. Strategic & Commercial Partnering

  • Translate enterprise strategy into business-specific people priorities
  • Strong commercial acumen to link workforce decisions to performance outcomes
  • Enterprise mindset - optimises beyond individual

2. Influence & Stakeholder Leadership

  • High-impact influencing at SLT/ GD level
  • Ability to challenge constructively and shape decisions without authority
  • Builds trust and navigates complex, matrix environments

3. Organisation Design & Workforce Strategy

  • Diagnose organisational capability gaps and design scalable structures
  • Apply org design principles (spans & layers, interaction models, capability alignment)
  • Strong workforce planning and operating model thinking

4. Change Leadership & Transformation

  • Drive structured change management and business readiness
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and large-scale transformation

5. Talent & Leadership Development

  • Coach and uplift leadership capability (G4+)
  • Drive succession planning and high-potential development.

Experience:

  • 8 - 12+ years in HR/ HRBP/ Business Partnering experience (with significant time at senior BP level)
  • Working experience in tech environment
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders (SLT or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated track record in:

+ Organisation design/ restructures

+ Talent and succession planning

+ Change and transformation programs

  • Experience in complex, matrix or multinational environments
