Role Description

The Maintenance Method Engineer – Senior Level is responsible for supporting maintenance performance improvement across SMQDC dimensions (Safety, Machine, Quality, Delivery, Cost). Enhance equipment availability by improving reliability, considering criticality and sustainability of assets, while contributing to the efficiency of TEC teams.

Ensures the effectiveness of maintenance methods, strengthens team competencies, validates maintenance plans, and supports component obsolescence management. By aligning technical expertise with operational requirements.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Maintenance performance: improve maintenance performance across SMQDC (Safety, Machine, Quality, Delivery, Cost).

Equipment Reliability: Strengthen equipment availability and reliability (MTBF, MTTR, RCA, reduce DT or recurrent breakdown…).

Method and Standardization: 

Develop and standardize maintenance methods, procedures, and practices. 

Lead scheduling-planning.

Spare Parts Readiness: Optimize spare parts management (PM, BD parts, obsolescence) to minimize risk and ensure readiness.

M-foundation and change management: Promote ownership, autonomy, problem-solving, and preventive culture and support rollout M-foundation.

Benchmarking and compliance assurance: Benchmark against other plants to adopt best practices and conduct internal audit to ensure compliance and improvement.

Continuous improvement: Provide method support in improvement and problem-solving meetings for continuous improvement initiatives

Training and Development: support the TEC Manager in developing competency matrix and training plan to enhance team competency. 

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Process Engineering and Industrialization with the ability to optimize and innovate industrial workflows
  • Strong Organization Skills and expertise in Project Management for coordinating and executing maintenance strategies
  • Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles as they pertain to industrial equipment
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing and improving equipment reliability and performance
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, combined with attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to quality standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing company, complex industrial organizations.
  • Candidates with TPM experience or skills in maintenance performance management are strongly considered.
