Job Title: Sales Manager – Vietnam (Power/Energy Sector)
Hengtong Group is a global leader in optical fiber communication and smart grid solutions. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to spearhead our market development in the power sector across Vietnam and the broader region.
About the Role
As the Sales Manager for Vietnam, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our comprehensive smart grid and power transmission products and solutions in the market. You will develop and execute market strategies, build and maintain key client relationships, and play a crucial role in expanding Hengtong's footprint in this dynamic energy market.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Strategy & Business Development: Formulate and implement the annual sales plan for the region, focusing on achieving targets for orders, shipments, and collections. Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the power/energy sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including large-scale EPC contractors, utility companies, and government agencies. Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation, contract closure, and after-sales support.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities. Provide regular market analysis reports to guide company strategy.
- Project & Risk Management: Oversee sales projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with internal technical and delivery teams. Manage commercial and project execution risks effectively.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the regional and global sales teams. Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of overseas sales experience in the power, energy, or heavy electrical equipment industry. Proven success in the Vietnam or East Asia power market is a significant advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of power transmission and distribution products (e.g., transformers, switchgear, cables) and the local energy market landscape.
- Language Skills:Fluent in English is essential for daily business communication, negotiation, and reporting. Knowledge of Vietnamese is a strong plus.
