M&E Engineer

Role Overview

Support the planning, designcoordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of M&Eworks, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, statutoryrequirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and BIM models to identify design gaps, clashes, and constructability issues.
• Coordinate combined services drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, and approvals.
• Monitor installation progress, work sequencing, and quality to ensure timely completion.
• Track variations, claims, and cost impacts, supporting project budget control.
• Conduct inspections and maintain records of materials, installations, and completed works.
• Support testing, commissioning, system integration, and project closeout.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, change management procedures, and quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in building and construction projects.
• MEP-focused Design-and-Build exposure and main contractor experience are desirable.
• Ability to interpret multidisciplinary drawings and coordinate CSD and BIM models.
• Practical knowledge of MEP installation, sequencing, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills.
