Position Purpose: A logistics specialist is responsible for the oversight of the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping and receiving. They offer support with the maintenance of administer and maintain inventory control program systems and coordinate with production and customer service team to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers. Additionally, logistics specialists develop reports showing transportation costs on precise projects and moves.
Principle Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Arrange shipments via sea, air, or express; coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers; track shipments and resolve delays
- Liaise with forwarders/carriers for shipment arrangements to ensure punctual delivery
- Prepare and review invoices, packing lists, B/L, COO, and other trade documents; ensure compliance with international trade documentation standards
- Understand import/export regulations and tariff codes (HS code); accurately file customs declarations; manage duties, taxes, and preferential trade agreements
- Familiar with INCOTERMS and trade terms; knowledge of restricted and prohibited goods; understand country-specific import/export requirements
- Handle shipment discrepancies or damaged goods; manage urgent orders or customs holds
- Operate Vietnam eCustoms platform and related logistics systems
- Verify freight invoices to ensure accurate billing from carriers
- Establish and maintain maximum and minimum consumables inventory levels
- Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks
- Scan orders into the system and track shipments across multiple channels
- Approve time sheets associated with deliveries and pick-ups
- Administer and maintain inventory control program systems
- Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans, and similar data
- Manage and monitor the performance of entire fleet, routing, and scheduling planning
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of assigned logistics functions, ensuring operational efficiency
- Coordinate with in-house customer service and sales administration team to promote accurate and timely order processing
- Assist in the preparation of statistical data for KPI reporting and analysis
- Perform other ad-hoc activities as assigned by superior
Qualifications:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Logistics or Business (preferred)
- Higher diploma / above in Logistics and Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in logistics management or coordination and at least 2 years working at manufacturing companies
- Working knowledge of PC computer systems and cargo management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, Power point & Outlook

Language Skills:
- Language: Fluent Vietnamese & English. Chinese is optional (better to have).

- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from internal and external customers including sales staff, internal colleagues and vendors.
- Capable of reading and interpreting information with the ability to share with others as needed.
- Ability to use personal computer and standard business and other work-related software with minimum instruction.
- Ability to read and interpret reports, sales materials and other related materials.

Location: Factory No. NX 23, Nam Tai Thai Binh International Co., Ltd., Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, Thai Thuy Commune, Hung Yen Province, Vietnam (Former Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province)
Working time: Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 to 17:00 (Saturday is flexible, depending on operational demand and line managers approval)
