Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced local Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations, transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and supply chain coordination in Vietnam. The candidate should have strong local logistics resources and experience managing import/export operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily logistics and supply chain operations
- Coordinate import and export shipments, customs clearance, and transportation
- Communicate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouses
- Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time shipment execution
- Manage local trucking and transportation resources
- Control logistics costs and improve operational efficiency
- Handle shipping documents, customs documents, and related compliance matters
- Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and overseas teams
- Resolve logistics issues, shipment delays, and customs-related problems
- Build and maintain relationships with local logistics partners and service providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field
- 3+ years of logistics or supply chain management experience
- Strong experience in Vietnam import/export and customs clearance
- Familiar with local transportation and trucking resources
- Experience working with freight forwarders and shipping companies
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Basic English communication skills preferred
- Experience in chemical, refrigerant, HVAC, or industrial products industry is a plus
