Job Description
About the Company
Our client is an established Energy player and is a leader in their field. They are currently looking to add a brand new headcount into their legal team to support the growing LNG transactions that they have across the business.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will report to the Head of Legal and you will provide legal support on the firm's LNG activities, including drafting and negotiating LNG sale and purchase agreements, charter party agreements and related commercial arrangements. You will identify and manage legal, regulatory and commercial risks across LNG and shipping transactions, while advising on contractual and operational matters, including performance issues, amendments, LNG value chain and terminal capacity arrangements
You will also support LNG related disputed and claims and partner closely with external counsels to close out these issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
You should be a qualified lawyer and have approximately 8 - 15 years PQE ideally gained either in an international law firm or a large multinational energy company. You should possess deep expertise in LNG contractual matters and is able to operate independently in a fast pace environment.
