Job Description

Manager of Korean Sales & Marketing for The Grand Ho Tram will oversee and manage all hotel sales activities to maximize revenue potential. This position provides leadership to the sales team in order to position the property as the premier luxury hotel resort.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned operational functions consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the department and The Grand Ho Tram.
  • Manage and monitor fiscal budget, operations and marketing strategies to produce both short term and long-term profitability.
  • Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.
  • Participate in the development of The Grand Ho Tram marketing strategies to increase volume, market share, and hotel revenue, monitoring current booking trends and modifying marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Provide input into the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure The Grand Ho Tram's competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality and gaming environment.
  • Direct the reporting and apprising of results against planned objectives; coordinates sales staff activities; take appropriate action to maximize sales
  • Create awareness and actively sell and solicit all goods and services of The Grand Ho Tram through attendance at trade shows and other industry functions. Develop marketing suggestions to maximize The Grand Ho Tram occupancy and average rate during low seasonal periods.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation and account analysis. Know competitor's product and pricing. Meet or exceed room revenue and Food and Beverage quotas.
  • Solicit/contract group bookings, which are considered to fall within geographic or vertical market segment. Perform other necessary functions in relation to their groups on behalf of The Grand Ho Tram.
  • Travel as required by Department Head. Maintain close contacts with Travel Agents, Meeting Planners and corporate clients to ensure customer retention. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of the gaming, hotel and entertainment industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of local regulatory requirements in casino gaming industry.
  • Strong business experience in developing marketing plans, marketing materials and collaterals.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
