About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic regional accounting team at Total Cargo Expertise Vietnam, part of the ECS Group. This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a regional shared services center, delivering high-impact accounting and reporting services for our Group subsidiaries across APAC, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and others.

You will assist the Regional Senior Accountant in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting — all within a fast-paced international environment driven by both aviation and digital business models.

Woking location: HCM, Vietnam (Vietnamese candidate)

Salary Range: up to 15,000,000 VND

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Billing & Bookkeeping

  • Reconcile shipment data between uplift reports and CargoSpot system.
  • Issue and send sales invoices to customers; communicate with internal teams and customers regarding any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and submit Cargo Sales Reports to airline accounting departments.
  • Reconcile airfreight invoices from airlines against Cargo Sales Reports.
  • Record all sales, purchases, and overhead invoices in Microsoft Business Central (Group ERP).
  • Prepare payments to airlines, vendors, and Group companies.
  • Weekly control and reconciliation of AR/AP; follow up on outstanding payment and receipt vouchers.
  • Assist Senior Accountant in maintaining accurate creditors ageing reports.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Assist Senior Accountant in preparing accurate and timely monthly management reports, including full P&L, balance sheet, cash reconciliation, and ageing balances, following Group policies.
  • Participate in the Group consolidation process, including intercompany reconciliation and preparation of financial reporting packages.

3. Audit & Compliance

  • Assist Senior Accountant in liaising with local auditors during annual statutory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and internal Group policies.

4. Other Responsibilities

  • Handle ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and financial controls.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, outsourcing or SSC is a plus.
  • Experience in multi-entity or shared services environments preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central, SAP) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken – essential for regional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple entities.
  • Positive, flexible, and team-oriented mindset.
