You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery as well managing the release of multiple team's features to production.
To ideal candidate is someone that thrives at managing complex stakeholder relationships and programs involving many cross-function teams onshore and offshore. You will work closely with senior technology leads, product owners and other project managers in Vietnam and Australia.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project integration management: ensure project planning, execution & controls are properly integrated.
- Project communications management: provide targeted communication to all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues and to measure and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Change management: ensure an effective change management plan is developed ensuring that the required change date is achieved.
- Benefits management: facilitate delivery of the business outcomes and to enable the project sponsor to realise return on investment.
- Knowledge management: adhere and contribute to knowledge management objectives and processes. Ensure knowledge harvesting occurs at all appropriate phases of the project
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must-have:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex technology projects involving multiple engineering teams both onshore and offshore
- Experience managing complex digital products (e.g. Online Banking, large digital projects)
- Strong stakeholder management experience – raise and resolve blockers from the Vietnam team with onshore stakeholders;
- Technically competent with various software programs like Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio & Sharepoint, JIRA, Confluence
- Ability to manage financials and project plans
- Strong leadership and motivational skills and ability to present and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
- Strong background in Java technologies and modern software engineering practices.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Agile methodologies and ability to apply in practice
- Experience working in large enterprise organisations e.g. banking
- Exposure to Infrastructure and Cloud technologies
- Tertiary Degree in Finance, Banking or Accounting from a recognised institution is preferred.
- Post-graduate qualification is desirable
