Job Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- 23 years of strong experience in IT Infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues without impacting/violating hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer peripherals, as well as desktop applications.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and ability to perform smart-hand activities under instruction at sites.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Expertise in desk-side support and PC break/fix, with basic administration of Windows OS and preferably MAC/Linux OS.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Smart-hand support for peripheral and networking hardware (monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, multi-port data termination panels, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with systems and networks, including end-user network cabling issues.
- Experience in repeat call analysis and developing preventive actions.
- Experience in problem management.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow / Remedy).
- Preferably holds an Associate Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Additional OEM certifications (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, etc.) are a plus.
