About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead and scale our Vietnam business. This is a newly created leadership position and a key member of the Vietnam leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and strengthening our market presence across Vietnam.

The role will oversee all Business Development (BD) and Key Account (KA) team members nationwide across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, deep understanding of the Vietnam business landscape, and extensive networks within both Chinese and Vietnamese business communities. We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial leader with experience from leading technology, fintech, payments, telecommunications, or financial services companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Business Development/Key Account team members across Vietnam
  • Develop and execute the country sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve business performance targets across all customer segments
  • Build, mentor, and scale high-performing commercial teams across multiple offices and locations
  • Establish and strengthen strategic relationships with key enterprise clients, partners, and stakeholders worldwide in multi-regions
  • Expand the company's presence within Chinese and Vietnamese business ecosystems
  • Collaborate closely with regional and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Compliance, and Product
  • Provide strategic market insights, competitive intelligence, and business recommendations to leadership
  • Drive operational excellence, sales governance, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Represent the company externally in industry events, business forums, and strategic engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership roles
  • At least 3 years of proven experience managing and leading sizable teams
  • Strong background in technology, fintech, telecommunications, financial services, or related industries
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling commercial operations in Vietnam
  • Strong network with both Chinese and Vietnamese business communities
  • Working proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Vietnamese
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and high-growth environment

Preferred Profile

  • Experience from leading multinational companies such as Huawei, fintech, payments, e-commerce, or enterprise technology organizations
  • Strong understanding of cross-border business, international trade, or digital commerce ecosystems
  • Proven track record managing large enterprise accounts and strategic partnerships
  • Experience working within matrix and multicultural organizations
