Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and highly motivated Head of Sales and Marketing Operations to oversee the growth and operational efficiency of our Vietnam subsidiary in the medical device industry. In this pivotal role, you will drive both the sales and marketing functions, ensuring that the company's products and services reach Vietnamese consumers and healthcare professionals effectively. This includes managing the go-to-market strategy, sales process, executing marketing campaigns, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, drives performance insights, and supports growth targets in the Vietnamese market while aligning with global standards and strategies from headquarters. This position is execution focused requiring hands-on engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Operations:
Sales Strategy & Market Penetration: Develop and execute sales strategies that are tailored to the Vietnamese market, focusing on expanding our reach in the targeted geographics, and targeting healthcare professionals (audiologists, ENT specialists) and end-consumers.
Sales Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and training to succeed in a competitive market. Set clear objectives and provide regular coaching to ensure high performance.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Implement accurate sales forecasting and tracking systems, ensuring transparency, identifying trends, and proactively addressing any performance issues.
CRM & Sales Tools: Oversee the implementation and optimization of CRM tools, ensuring that sales activities are efficiently tracked and managed across the team.
Marketing Operations:
Localized Marketing Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive, localized marketing strategy that speaks directly to the cultural and behavioral characteristics of Vietnamese consumers, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
Brand Awareness & Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing initiatives (social media, SEO, SEM, content marketing) to increase brand visibility and engagement within Vietnam. Manage campaigns that highlight the benefits of the medical device for improving quality of life.
Customer Insights: Collect customer feedback sessions to understand the needs and preferences of local consumers. Use insights to shape marketing campaigns and ensure product offerings meet market demands.
Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with local healthcare providers and influencers in the related medical field to increase product adoption and awareness.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Team Management: Lead the Sales and Marketing teams in Vietnam, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across both teams.
Collaboration with Regional team: Work closely with the regional teams to ensure alignment of goals and strategies, driving the overall success of the subsidiary.
KPI Development & Performance Tracking: Define KPIs for both sales and marketing teams and regularly track performance to optimize results. Provide comprehensive performance reports to regional leadership.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o 3-5 years hands-on experiences in leading sales / marketing operations within the healthcare, medical device, or consumer goods industries.
o Industry: Background in consumer healthcare sectors
o Proven experience in managing sales and marketing teams with a solid understanding of the local market, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior.
o Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand recognition.
Skills:
o Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on team development, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams.
o Analytical mindset with the ability to track and leverage performance data to optimize sales and marketing strategies.
o Experiences in digital marketing, CRM systems, and sales management tools.
o Understanding of Vietnam's regulatory environment for healthcare products.
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field.
Language:
o Proficiency in Vietnamese is required (native speaker preferred), and English fluency is essential for communication with the regional team.
