Role Overview
Own and drive end-to-end fundraising activities to support SME lending growth. This role requires a hands-on professional who can build, execute, and manage funding deals independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end fundraising (debt/equity/structured) from banks, funds, DFIs, and strategic partners
- Structure, negotiate, and execute deals (cost of capital, covenants, risk allocation)
- Build and prepare fundraising materials (Investor Deck, Financial Model, Data Room, Term Sheet)
- Manage investor relations, reporting, and capital utilization tracking
- Align fundraising strategy with lending growth and portfolio targets
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with investors and financial institutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics or related fields
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Investment Banking / Corporate Finance / Structured Finance / Fintech / PE / Fund
- Proven track record of directly closing or leading fundraising deals with financial institutions
- Strong hands-on capability in financial modeling, deal structuring, and investor materials preparation
- Established working network with banks, funds, or DFIs (not just connections)
- Ability to work independently and build processes from scratch
- Fluent English with ability to pitch and negotiate with international investors
Preferred
- Experience in fintech, SME lending, or fast-paced startup environments
- Understanding of SME financing / invoice financing / supply chain finance
