Head of Corporate Finance

A leading Asia Pacific investment manager specialising in liquidity solutions for private capital markets is seeking a Head of Corporate Finance to join the team.

This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Corporate Finance function across the Group, with overall accountability for financial reporting, controllership, accounting operations, treasury, financial and regulatory reporting, and the Group's financial control environment.

The ideal Candidate

• At least 15 years of accounting and finance experience, including five years in a leadership or controllership role.
• Experience in asset management, private equity, financial services or another regulated financial institution.
• Experience managing multi-jurisdictional entities and regional finance teams.
• CPA, CA, ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, budgeting and regulatory reporting.
• Experience presenting financial results and recommendations to senior management and Boards.
• Strong commercial judgement, communication skills and attention to detail.
• A hands-on leader with a proven ability to strengthen controls, improve processes and develop teams.

Financial Control, Governance & Operations

• Lead the Corporate Finance function and maintain overall accountability for accounting, financial controls, treasury, cash management, banking, accounts payable, revenue recognition and statutory reporting across the Group.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Design, maintain and enhance finance policies, procedures and internal controls to support a strong governance and risk management framework.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax agent, corporate secretarial, banks and other external service providers.

Board, Management & Regulatory Reporting

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial analysis and Board reporting materials for the Group's monthly Board meetings.
• Present financial results, business performance, forecasts, key risks and other finance matters to the Board, providing clear insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across the Group.
• Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting and financial submissions to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and other applicable regulators.
• Partner closely with Compliance and business stakeholders to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory and reporting obligations.

Finance Transformation & Team Leadership

• Lead the development of a scalable, best-in-class Corporate Finance function that supports the firm's continued growth across multiple jurisdictions.
• Partner with the Director, Operational Strategy & Execution to identify, prioritise and execute finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, automation, systems implementation, workflow optimisation and data governance programs.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, controls, operational efficiency, data quality and management information.
• Build, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership and excellence.
