About the Program
NAVER Vietnam the technology hub of NAVER Corporation (Korea) together with CoderSchool Vietnams leading coding academy is organizing a nationwide AI Hackathon (AugDec 2025) with 1,500+ talented university students from across the country. To ensure fairness and high-quality evaluation, we are looking for experienced Mentors to join us in grading the first assignment round.
Role & Responsibilities
As a Hackathon Mentor, you will:
Review and evaluate participants projects, which include:
- Source code (GitHub repository with README)
- Executable demo (web/app)
- Project documentation (features, tech stack, database design if any)
- Demo video ( 2 minutes)
- Thought process explanation (motivation, uniqueness, future direction, AI tool usage if applicable)
Assess submissions based on multiple aspects, including:
- Feature completeness (do features work as promised)
- UX/UI design (clarity, ease of use, visual appeal)
- Creativity & innovation (unique ideas, smart implementations)
- Code quality & structure (readability, modularization, maintainability)
- Documentation & presentation (clarity of README and demo video)
- Provide fair, consistent, and constructive scoring for all assigned projects.
Requirements
- Experienced technical background in software engineering, AI/ML, or related fields.
- Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) evaluation.
- Experience in project evaluation, mentoring, or teaching is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and fairness in assessment.
- Ability to commit during the grading period.
Grading Timeline
- Total workload: 50 submissions per mentor
- Main grading period (1619 September, 4 days):
- Finish all 50 submissions (1213 submissions/day).
- Buffer days (2025 September):
- Reserved for quality control, double-blind checks, borderline re-checks, and resolving flagged cases.
Support & Process
- Mentors will receive a grading guide, rubric, and calibration sessions before grading.
- A short grading test (3 sample submissions) will be required during selection to ensure consistency.
Commitment
By joining, mentors commit to grading 50 submissions between 1619 September and being available for follow-up tasks during 2025 September.
Salary
Graded 50 tests within 4 days, compensated with a gross salary of 4 million VND.
