Growth team is a strategy team within marketing that drives both strategy and execution on high impactful initiatives.
The sub-team you will work with is the Logistics Growth Squad. We tackle high-stake, usually cross-team challenges with regard to how to grow Shopee’s strategic delivery channels.
Job Description
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven individual to join Shopee Growth. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, number crunching, and execution. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys using data to solve ambiguous business problems and then driving actions with multiple stakeholders.
This Role Will
- Bring insights to light:
- Break down ambiguous problems using structured thinking (e.g., issue trees) and turn analysis into clear recommendations.
- Support long-term direction-setting by validating assumptions and building projections/targets for key initiatives.
- Evaluate experiments and synthesize learnings into what happened / why / what to do next” guidance for the team
- Analytics & Modeling
- Build and maintain GSheet-based models (from topline to profitability), investment efficiency views, and segment deep-dives (region/cluster/COGS/etc.).
- Create trackers/dashboards for recurring monitoring and decision-making; ensure numbers are accurate, consistent, and management-ready.”
- Execution & Project Management
- Own operational follow-ups for initiatives: define tracking, run weekly reviews, manage budget/subsidy levers, and coordinate next actions.
- Support/lead A/B tests or controlled rollouts (e.g., optimize trade-offs between growth and cost), then recommend scaling decisions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with BI / Ops / Product / Marketing teams through clear updates and working routines.
- Communication & Storytelling
- Turn complex analysis into clear narratives via slides/emails: top-down storyline, key insights, risks, and decision asks.
- Proactively share updates early to unblock stakeholders and speed up iteration.
Requirements
- Strong analytical foundation; comfortable with numbers, structured problem solving, and making decisions with imperfect information.
- Solid GSheet/Excel skills (modeling, trackers, clean logic); high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Clear communication: able to explain insights logically (written + verbal) and work smoothly with stakeholders.
- Ownership mindset: reliable, proactive, self-driven; comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilience & growth mindset: able to thrive in a high-speed, high-stakes environment; stays calm under pressure, absorbs feedback quickly, and iterates fast in a direct feedback culture.
- Nice to have: Prior exposure to e-commerce, logistics, marketing performance, or cross-functional project work.
