About the Role
We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and dynamic Growth Marketing to lead audience growth for our animation content portfolio with a special focus on anime. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes anime culture, understands fan communities, and knows how to turn brand passion into measurable growth. You will combine your expertise in brand building, go-to-market execution, and growth strategies to expand our audience and engagement across digital and offline channels.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute integrated growth marketing strategies for anime and animation content, driving subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Identify, test, and optimize user acquisition channels (digital ads, influencer partnerships, social platforms, community events, etc.).
- Collaborate with content, product, and partnership teams to plan and deliver impactful go-to-market campaigns for new animation releases.
Brand & Community Building
- Build a strong, authentic brand presence in the anime fan community in Vietnam.
- Leverage fan insights to shape messaging, content formats, and engagement tactics.
- Organize and support fan activations, screenings, cosplay contests, and other experiential marketing events.
Market & Audience Insights
- Monitor trends in anime and animation fandom to identify growth opportunities.
- Analyze campaign data, customer journeys, and fan behavior to refine marketing strategies.
- Benchmark against global and local competitors to keep our brand ahead in the market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with regional/global marketing teams to localize brand campaigns for the Vietnam market.
- Align with partnerships and distribution teams to maximize campaign reach.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Anime fan at heart regularly watches anime and understands the culture, communities, and trends.
- 35 years of marketing experience, including brand and go-to-market execution in a multinational company operating in Vietnam.
- Proven track record in growth marketing or audience development for entertainment, digital content, or youth brands.
- Strong digital marketing skills (paid media, social media, influencer marketing, content marketing).
- Experience with data analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, campaign tracking platforms).
- Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in OTT, gaming, or youth culture brands.
- Event marketing experience in fan-based communities.
- Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools.
KPIs & Success Metrics
Performance in this role will be measured by:
- Subscriber Growth Increase in animation content subscribers (monthly/quarterly targets).
- Engagement Rates Uplift in watch time, repeat viewing, and content interaction for anime titles.
- Campaign ROI Marketing spend efficiency and cost per acquisition (CPA) within agreed benchmarks.
- Community Impact Growth in anime fan community size and activity (social followers, event attendance, engagement rate).
- Brand Awareness Measured improvement in brand recall and sentiment among target anime audiences.
- Partnership Outcomes Revenue and audience growth achieved via influencer, community, or brand partnerships.
