About the client
Our client is a fast-growing multinational B2C company headquartered in Vietnam, operating across seven markets in Southeast Asia and Latin America. The company specialises in nutraceutical and healthcare supplement products, sold direct-to-consumer through a combination of affiliate marketing and tele sales channels.
The business model runs affiliate-led lead generation campaigns that feed into in-house and outsourced call centre operations for conversion and customer acquisition.
The company is now scaling its Asia operations and is looking for a General Manager to relocate to Jakarta and take full P&L ownership of the Indonesia market. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Regional Head of Sales and Operations (SEA) and working closely with the Board.
The Indonesian subsidiary operates under its own local brand (separate from the parent company) and the GM will have full operational autonomy to drive growth.
JOB SUMMARY
The General Manager is responsible for managing, e.g., plan, organize, lead, and control the daily business activities in the administrative and operations level, improving overall business functions, trains department heads, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the Regional Head of Sales and Operations (SEA) to develop and execute the company's strategic vision and goals.
- Collaborate with Regional Head of Sales and Operations (SEA) and regional team to create and implement key initiatives and programs.
- Manage and oversee various cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.
- Perform research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide suggestions for business growth and suggest ideas for increasing revenue.
- Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Create, review, and implement effective business plans and models.
- Generate, facilitate, and present reports to the Regional Head of Sales and Operations (SEA).
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a leadership or management role, ideally within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and preferably in telesales, logistics and retail industries.
- A minimum of 5 years of General Management experience or similar role
- Strong experience in managing and optimizing P&L
- At least 5 years of experience in an Telesales/BPO/E-commerce industry
