General Accountant

1. Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting

• Perform general accounting tasks and review/reconcile transactions.
• Record journal entries such as accruals, fixed asset depreciation, payroll expenses, and statutory deductions/payroll taxes.
• Prepare monthly tax reports and monthly/quarterly business performance reports.
• Provide guidance to accountants on handling accounting tasks.
• Manage and store documents related to fixed assets and banking.
• Conduct banking transactions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

2. Internal Controls

• Review and reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and establish provisions (if any).
• Manage and reconcile monthly purchase and sales listings.
• Monitor and compile project financial reports.

3. Tax Compliance

• Review and validate the legality of purchase contracts.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other related legal obligations.

• A Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing.
• 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years as a General Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS), financial reporting, and tax regulations (VAT, CIT, FCT, and foreign investment regulations).
• Solid understanding of invoicing and accounting documents.
• Proficient in accounting software (MISA or similar) and Excel.
• Strong analytical, data consolidation, and reporting skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient in English communication (both verbal and written).
