Job Title: General Accountant (Chinese Speaking)
Location: Trang Due Industrial Park Hai Phong
The General Accountant (Mandarin Speaking) will be responsible for performing general accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and company policies. The role requires close communication with Chinese-speaking management and overseas teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle bank reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Support tax declaration and compliance (VAT, CIT, PIT) according to Vietnamese regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Communicate regularly with Mandarin-speaking management regarding financial matters.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accounting data accuracy.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Calculate / maintain the monthly costs of goods sold (COGS)
- Maintain monthly inventory record (Raw material, Work in processing, Finished goods) and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
- Perform ad-hoc tasks / projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 14 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in foreign-invested companies).
- Good knowledge of VAS; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Chinese Speaking
- Familiar with accounting software (e.g., MISA, Fast, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under deadlines.
