Key Responsibilities
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards).
- Account Payables & Receivables: Process invoices, manage vendor payments (suppliers, venues, athletes), and monitor incoming sponsorships or registration fees.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly tax reports (VAT, PIT, CIT, and FCT) and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Project Costing: Track budgets and expenditures for specific sporting events to provide profitability analysis.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash for on-site event needs.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Asset Management: Manage fixed assets and inventory related to event equipment.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a General Accountant or Senior Accountant role.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as MISA or Bravo is mandatory.
- Excel Mastery: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) for data analysis and reporting.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in event management, hospitality, or project-based industries is a big plus.
- Traits: High level of integrity, ability to work under pressure (especially during event seasons), and strong analytical thinking.
