Financial Analyst

Role Description

Analyze financial performance to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decisions. Provide clear insights into revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow to help management allocate resources and improve financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze business performance and investigate budget variances.
• Evaluate investment proposals and business initiatives.
• Monitor financial indicators and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business teams to validate assumptions and explain results.
• Present findings and recommendations to management.
• Maintain data accuracy and improve reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in financial analysis, planning, or reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• A relevant professional qualification, such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA, is an advantage.
