Finance Team Leader (Commercial Finance)

Job Description

Financial Planning & Control

  • Develop cost standards, spending limits, budgets, and financial delegation.
  • Forecast and prepare annual budgets; monitor and control budget execution and cash flow.
  • Propose solutions to mitigate financial risks and support execution.

Business Performance Analysis

  • Lead management reporting in compliance with internal requirements.
  • Review implementation of action plans and recommendations from reports.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual results and budgets, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Benchmark against market trends, prepare financial risk assessment reports as required.
  • Provide internal forecasts to support business in achieving revenue targets.
  • Prepare financial presentations for the leadership team.

Operational Efficiency Evaluation

  • Participate in developing and reviewing company compensation and bonus policies.
  • Define and allocate revenue KPIs for business units, ensuring growth targets are achieved.
  • Calculate KPI performance and provide data for HR in payroll and performance reviews.
  • Analyze ROI and assess investment effectiveness to improve efficiency.

Cost Optimization

  • Monitor and control costs within the approved budget and propose cost-saving measures.

Investment & Transaction Effectiveness

  • Evaluate and propose solutions to improve investment efficiency and strategic initiatives.
  • Support financial due diligence and assessment of important business transactions.

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide professional financial advice to related departments.
  • Support projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Department.

Job specifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/CFA is a plus).
  • At least 35 years of experience in Finance/FP&A, including supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skill
