Accountabilities:
Essential Functions
The Factory Audit Engineer is responsible for formulating and executing comprehensive compliance audit plans covering all facets of manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Pre‑audit Preparation: Define audit scope and compliance objectives, identify key processes and departments for audit, and collect relevant documentation including process flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), compliance and quality manuals.
- Audit Execution: Conduct systematic evaluations of manufacturing processes, procedures and practices to verify compliance with established standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Multi‑dimensional Assessment: Evaluate quality control protocols, production workflows, equipment maintenance, calibration records and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) systems.
- Document Review: Inspect compliance‑aligned quality management systems (QMS), quality manuals, training programs, inspection plans and quality control (QC) records.
- On‑site Observation: Assess on‑the‑ground implementation of processes and identify non‑conformities against established procedures via direct observation.
- Third‑party Audit Coordination: Supervise and coordinate all third‑party factory audit activities to guarantee seamless and efficient operations.
- Factory Performance Management: Define accountabilities, supporting performance objectives, deliver feedback and guidance, and ensure full understanding and adherence to all policies.
- Regular Factory Visits: Conduct periodic on‑site visits to evaluate performance, provide operational guidance, and resolve issues arising and concerns.
- Capability Development: Train, mentor and support factory teams to upgrade professional skills and overall compliance operational performance.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely and build trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders and factory partners to meet and exceed performance expectations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follow-up with suppliers to ensure continued compliance on an on-going basis.
- Clearly communicate SN and industry standard requirements.

Hiring Requirements:
Education & Professional Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related engineering discipline.
- 6+ years of progressive professional experience in factory audit, quality assurance, manufacturing compliance, or supplier management.
- Hands‑on experience in consumer product compliance; appliance manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
- Expertise in UL, IEC, and other international product certification standards.
- In‑depth knowledge and practical understanding of global regulatory and management system standards, including ISO 9000/14000/45000, ISO/IEC 17025, RoHS, REACH, FDA, and NSF.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; demonstrated ability to conduct professional cross‑border communication, draft technical documents, and prepare formal audit reports in both languages.
- Profound expertise in end‑to‑end manufacturing processes, quality management systems (QMS), standardized audit methodologies, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional project coordination capabilities.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple concurrent audit projects efficiently.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with audit management software is a distinct advantage.
Functional Skills/Knowledge
- In depth knowledge of product design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality, merchandising and supply chain management.
Travel Requirements:
- Flexibility for domestic and international travel as required.
