Role DescriptionThe Expert, Strategy & Ecosystem Partnership is a full-time, on-site role based in Hoan Kiem. The Expert, Strategy & Ecosystem Partnership applies strategic analysis, business planning, and partnership assessment expertise to support the TCB Group's corporate strategy and ecosystem partnership agenda. This role is responsible for translating strategic priorities into executable plans, tracking initiative progress, preparing management insights, and contributing to improvements in strategy and partnership management processes.
1. Corporate Strategy and Business Planning
- Contribute to the development of the Bank and Group-wide 5-year strategy, including strategic priorities, business model, customer value propositions, financial model, and key value drivers.
- Conduct in-depth research, analysis, benchmarking, and forecasting on macroeconomic trends, banking market developments, competitors, revenue pools, profit pools, customer segments, and regulatory implications.
- Support the annual business planning process by working with key stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into initiatives, KRAs/KPIs, financial targets, and execution plans.
- Build, maintain, and improve the 5-year financial model, including assumptions, scenarios, sensitivities, and performance drivers.
- Lead or contribute to strategic deep-dives on priority topics such as new business opportunities, digital/AI transformation, customer growth, operating model, M&A, investments, or other strategic initiatives.
- Prepare high-quality insights, reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and governance forums.
- Track strategy execution progress, identify key issues or risks, and propose practical recommendations using existing frameworks and solutions.
2. Ecosystem Strategy and Partnership Support
- Conduct analysis on ecosystem opportunities such as housing, retail, lifestyle, B2B supply chains, digital platforms, and other strategic sectors.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize potential strategic partners, including technology firms, platforms, telcos, real estate players, industrial groups, and other ecosystem participants.
- Develop partner profiles, strategic fit assessments, business cases, financial analysis, and value creation scenarios across the Bank, Insurance, Securities, and other group companies.
- Support partnership execution by coordinating with business units, subsidiaries, Legal, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and other relevant functions.
- Monitor partnership performance, including customer acquisition, revenue contribution, ROI, customer penetration, engagement, and ecosystem health indicators.
- Support partnership governance through preparation of meeting materials, documentation, action tracking, and performance updates.
- Contribute to improvements in partnership assessment, governance, tracking, and reporting processes.3. Collaboration, Process Improvement and Self-Development
- Coordinate effectively within the team, across the Division, business units, subsidiaries, and relevant group companies.
- Provide informal guidance and support to other employees on analysis, modelling, presentation preparation, and planning-related tasks.
- Contribute to process improvements in strategic planning, performance tracking, reporting, and partnership management.
Resolve problems using existing solutions, structured analysis, and sound business judgment, while escalating complex matters when required.
- Work with minimal guidance from senior team members and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
- Ensure assigned activities comply with internal policies, regulations, processes, guidelines, governance standards, and service quality commitments.
- Participate in training, team activities, and proactively pursue development opportunities.
- Perform other related tasks as requested by management. Domain expertise:
- At least 8+ years of experience in banking and finance. Minimum 1 year of experience in a expert position
- Deep understanding of business management activities in the bank
- English level 3 (TOEIC 650 or higher or other certificates of equivalent value)
