Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a strategic HR Business Partner to support ADM Vietnam and the APAC Animal Nutrition (AN) business in formulating HR strategies, goals and objectives that are aligned with the business strategies for the whole of Vietnam and across APAC AN. The HR Director is also directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function in according with Country strategies, Zone/ Corporate HR policies and Local Labor Laws.

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing HR expertise and partner client groups in HR change management initiatives; linking human resource strategies to business objectives
  • Provide guidance to management, lead/support on a wide range of matters, including employee engagement and HR policies and programs
  • Facilitate leadership and high potential employee development program to optimize performance and build up future pipeline of leaders. Review/develop HR best practices to bridge current abilities to future talent needs
  • Drive performance driven organization with effective performance policy and process, collaborate with business leaders on performance reviews, compensation reviews, promotions, development plans for critical talents and corrective plans for low performance etc.
  • Oversee the day-to-day Vietnam operations of HR in support of the employee life cycle - onboarding, development, performance management, exiting. Implement process improvements as appropriate.
  • Utilize and understand data through analytics to design the HR strategy for Vietnam
  • Be the culture ambassador of the organization, by developing a culture of respect, dialogue & transparency and diversity & inclusion
  • Implement global and regional HR programs in the country. Actively participate in and help drive HR activities in the region, and support develop regional programs when required
  • Partner with senior leadership in Animal Nutrition business to align HR strategies with business objectives, effectively addressing evolving organizational needs.
  • Partner with global HR Business Partners to synchronize HR strategic planning, headcount planning, budgeting, and other key HR initiatives.
  • Develop, enhance, and implement practices that promote strategic growth, while improving organizational effectiveness and executive excellence.
  • Work with the Learning and Talent Management team to design impactful programs focused on training, career development, and job performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and overseeing effective implementation.
  • Collaborate with the HR COE teams on specific areas to ensure smooth implementation of HR programs practices.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree and above.
  • 10 years above HR related working experience in multinational corporations plus regional experience.
  • Demonstrated experiences and knowledge in the various HR functional areas, covering talent development, talent acquisition, performance management, organization development, etc.
  • Understanding Nutrition business is a plus, be able to transform business needs and strategies into executable human resource practices.
  • Self-directed with a strong sense of accountability, ability to work independently.
  • Fast learning and willing to working under high pressure environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills; Excellent communication skills.
  • Language: fluent English.
