We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and people-driven Human Resources Director to lead and manage the full spectrum of HR operations for a leading FMCG company in Vietnam with over 1,000 employees. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and systems to support the company's business goals, culture, and talent development. The HR Director will lead a team of approximately 10-15 HR professionals across multiple functions, including Talent Acquisition, C&B, L&D, Employee Relations, and HR Services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Lead workforce planning and organization design in collaboration with top management
- Build long-term HR capabilities to support business growth and transformation
2. Organizational Development & Culture
- Drive change management and organization development initiatives
- Promote and embed company culture, values, and employee engagement strategies
- Lead HR digital transformation and system improvements
3. Talent Management
- Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and employer branding
- Develop and manage performance management frameworks (KPIs, OKRs)
- Build leadership and succession planning programs
4. Compensation & Benefits (C&B)
- Review and design competitive C&B schemes that align with market practices and internal equity
- Monitor payroll, benefits, and incentive programs to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide strategic input for bonus and ESOP allocations
5. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese labor law and internal regulations
- Handle disciplinary issues, grievances, and labor inspections professionally
- Advise management on risk mitigation and HR-related legal matters
6. HR Operations & Systems
- Lead process optimization and standardization across HR functions
- Improve HR reporting, metrics, and analytics for data-driven decision-making
- Oversee HRIS implementation and enhancements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role (preferably in F&B/FMCG, retail, or large-scale operations)
- Proven experience managing large HR teams (20+ people) and multi-site operations
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labor law and HR best practices
- Strategic mindset with hands-on capability and high adaptability
- Demonstrated experience in building HR systems and frameworks from the ground up
- Strong legal mindset and systems thinking
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- English proficiency is a plus.
