Job Description
ABOUT THE JOB
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud and on-prem environments
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins
- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, handle incident response and performance tuning
- Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and bash scripting for cloud provisioning
- Support both on-premises infrastructure and cloud services (hybrid model)
- Maintain software configuration management tools and establish version control best practices
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and other DevOps engineers to ensure high system reliability and streamlined release cycles
- Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions
- Develop architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans for Azure and Jenkins solutions, incorporating backend technologies as needed
- Develop cloud migration strategies, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting during the transition to cloud environments.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years as a DevOps engineer
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, effective communicator, team player, and proactive in taking ownership and driving resolution in fast-paced environments
- Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments
- Skilled in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
- Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitHub APIs
- Knowledgeable in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as microservices architectures
- Experience maintaining and debugging Kubernetes environments (nice to have)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting (nice to have)
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (nice to have).
