OVERVIEW
Deputy Director, Research and Development is responsible for implementing and managing market research activities to support projects developed by NLL and NLCP, as well as macro-level studies and forecasts for the Group. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting macroeconomic research, trend analysis, and forecasting to support the Groups strategic planning.
- Researching and developing products and services based on company direction and business needs.
- Preparing market research reports.
- Collaborate proactively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of assigned objectives.
RESPONSIBITILY
1. Conduct macroeconomic, industry, and economic trend research:
- Perform macro-level research and analyze monetary, fiscal, and other policy trends to forecast economic cycles.
- Study industry dynamics and trends to assess sector outlooks and emerging developments, supporting the Groups strategic planning.
- Propose the selection of external consultants and manage the process and outcomes of outsourced research projects related to R&D.
2. Conduct customer and market research, competitor analysis, and product proposals
- Conduct competitor research and analysis; propose product types, pricing, features, and amenities.
- Conduct research on target customers to define customer personas, behaviors, and satisfaction levels.
- Analyze market data to recommend pricing strategies for each sales phase, or provide counter-arguments to proposed pricing from the Sales & Marketing Division.
- Prepare reports proposing product mix, product descriptions, and associated amenities for each project.
3. Monitor Progress and Ensure Quality
- Closely monitor the progress and quality of assigned tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and timely support to ensure the quality of work delivered by team members.
- Develop annual work plans and oversee their implementation within the department.
4. Budget Management
- Develop and submit the departments annual budget for approval.
- Manage and plan the departments annual operating budget in line with the companys overall objectives, ensuring cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Business Units, Centers of Excellence, and other departments across the Group.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, consultants, and vendors.
REQUIRED SKILL AND BEHAVIORS
1. Background/ Experience
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or other relevant fields.
- Over 10 years of experience in market research and real estate project analysis, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Good English communication skills.
