Demi Chef

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a highly skilled and talented Demi Chefwith culinary flair to join our innovative kitchen team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will run your own section, ensuring service is smooth as well as support other sections and run the pass as required. You will ensure food costs are kept within budget along with managing labor costs.

You are highly driven, creative and passionate about what you do. You are excited when using local produce to create amazing food memories for our guests. You are reliable, calm and able to think outside the box. You will also hold:

• Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Commis Chef, minimum 3 years
• A confident and creative cooking style with a strong emphasis on quality and presentation
• Experience in high-volume catering for Conferences & Events will be highly regarded
• The ability to deliver consistent, high-quality food whilst motivating and empowering junior kitchen team members
• A flexible approach in adapting to guest requests
• Strong time management skills, impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated understanding and commitment to food safety legislation and HACCP
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate is desirable
